When I first decided to revive the blog section of my website I was stuck on this questions – What do I write about?! Obviously my amazing clients and showing off their photos, but I wanted to add in some fun elements as well! Over time I’ll be sprinkling in personal posts so y’all can get to know me a little better! Below are 20 random fun facts about me!
What was your almost name?
Charles! My parents thought that I was going to be a boy. I think Charlie would’ve been a cute girl name though!
Can you whistle?
Yes, I just learned a few years ago and now I can’t stop! I do it at the worst times. lol
Where did you go/ did you study photography in college?
I went to The University of South Carolina – Go Cocks! I majored in Advertising with a minor in Hospitality Management and up until November 2021, I had never met anyone who majored in photography! Funny enough, she isn’t a photographer! She’s a photo editor.
When you aren’t shooting weddings on the weekend you are….?
Relaxing! Spending time with family and friends, cleaning my house and catching up on my TV shows.
What are your non-photography related essentials when you’re out on a photoshoot?
Water and snacks! Gotta stay prepared.
What’s one talent that you wish you had?
I wish I could sing! I still put on concerts in the shower and while I’m driving, but I’m definitely not taking home any Grammy’s. LOL
Are you a morning person or a night owl?
A night owl for sure! I do my best work late at night when no one is up to distract me. haha
What is your idea of the perfect date?
April 25th, because it’s not too hot and not too cold. You just need a light jacket!
What is the first thing you notice about people?
Their smile!
If you weren’t a photographer, what would your career be?
I would love to own a wedding venue or a bed and breakfast! Non-wedding related – I would have loved to be a psychologist.
Whats your favorite movie?
Remember the Titans! It never gets old to me.
What language, besides your native language, would you like to be fluent in?
I would love to speak Spanish and French! I can count to 10 in each language, so thats a start, right? lol
Have you ever been camping?
Hard pass…I’d happily stay in a cabin though!
Do you prefer country or city living?
I love the idea of having lots of land out in the country but realistically I can’t imagine being more than 30 minutes from a Target.
What are you craving right now?
Sushi!! It’s been months since I last had it.
What’s one word your friends would use to describe you?
Sassy!
What was your first concert?
My first concert was The Cheetah Girls!
What is your favorite holiday?
Christmas!
What are you must-haves for watching a movie in a theater?
Dollar Tree snacks – duh! haha
What are the must-haves in the home of my dreams?
Space to entertain guests! I would loooovvveeee a wrap around porch with a porch swing!
